This website is a demonstration of some of my previous work . Most of it pertains to GIS and urban planning as well as writing and editing as these are my specialties. My background is in international studies but I have decided to switch careers. I have a BA in international relations and politics as well as a diploma in GIS from SAIT (practicum has not yet been completed). In my down time I am studying CAD, working on a mobile app in content development and attempting to keep my programming skills current. My interests also include data science. AI (Artificial Intelligence) and travel.
I was fortunate enough to work with some great people for this project. The essay is mostly my writing and we attempted to do a land use analysis of the proposed South West BRT (Bus rapid transit) by the City of Calgary. We wanted to determine commute times and possible passengers who would use this service. We were fortunate enough to consult with Mac Logan who at the time was the manager for all of Calgary transit. Clicking on the picture will allow you to read our essay related to the project.
Close Project
In the second semester of SAIT, we were required to complete a 2nd capstone project and I elected with
classmate Olufemi Fashui to evaluate which neighborhoods would be the most suitable for a new soup kitchen
or similar social service building. More information on this project can be found at the following link.

We had to create a map of a country and I chose Lebanon due to it’s small size and high quality open source data.

I was responsible for editing the Hebrew to English translation of my friends book.
Please note I went over the English translation and am not fluent in Hebrew. My job
was to edit the book for publication on the Amazon Kindle store. On a side note the
author of the fore ward of the book is Robert Shemin who is a Wall Street Journal books best selling author.
